Description Suggest change

Dance up the river of radical quartz starting from the ledge at the top of the first pitch of the Northeast Buttress (5.8) or above Islay (10-). Great techy climbing following the "ski track" crystal dike feature on the left side of Highlands Wall visible from the Lake George parking lot. Full 30 meter second pitch.

Protection Suggest change

11 or so bolts, anchor hooks, plus a single set to 2" for the 5.8 approach pitch of the Northeast Buttress or Islay (10a)

Full 70m rope needed to descend the first pitch, knot the ends

Location Suggest change

Above the first pitch of the Northeast Buttress (5.8) or Islay (10a). Can be linked with lots of runners and minimal pro on the first pitch, but belaying on the midway ledge is recommended.
