Description Suggest change

This could be seen as a partner climb to Heart of Darkness, due to the similar features and style. Water sculpted holds at their finest! Navigate pockets, slots and subtle dishes up the thin slab start. Grab a quick rest and continue up the ever steepening wall. A few burly moves and a wild roof sequence will lead you to the easier, yet thought provoking finish. I ended the route at the obvious jug rail, however, a harder extension could be added in the future. This route also stays much drier than Heart of Darkness and therefore has a longer season.

Location Suggest change

Follow the main Valley of the Blind trail and take the left fork at the seasonal waterfall/rock shelter. Continue downhill as the cliff grows in height. Pass the obvious water-streak of Heart of Darkness and continue another hundred yards of so. If you made it to the Grand Traverse, you went too far.

Protection Suggest change

10 bolts (1 fixed) to a 2-bolt anchor w/ lower-offs
