Description Suggest change

A pleasant 8 pitch rockies trad route with mostly great rock and bolts where good gear is not available.  For a pitch by pitch description and topo, see TABVAR's website.

To descend, the route can be rappeled in 8 raps with a single 60m rope. Alternatively, from the anchor at the top of the final pitch, traverse left across the ledge to reach a large ledge with rappel anchors for True Grit, which can be rapelled in 3 60m double rope rappels and a short easy downclimb (avoided with an optional additional 30m rappel).

Location Suggest change

Below and right of the large treed ledge that True Grit starts off of are two bolt lines. Geriatric is the left line of bolts, Econoline is the right. Alternatively, P1 of Geriatric can be bypassed by starting off of the right hand side of the True Grit start ledge.

Protection Suggest change

Single rack from #0.2 to #3, a #4 can be nice for pitch 4 but is not strictly necessary.
