Description
This is the second most prominent and vertically sustained line you’ll find along the cliff of Gros cap conservation are.
It’s the middle line of a wall that hosts 3 obvious routes with a choose your own adventure spirit if you want to take a harder or easier path on each main ice flow.
Protection is good however at the steps atop the vertical steps were some crust layers that made pulling on to them a bit interesting. They were all solid rests though and you could ears i love you take a no hands rest for awhile to full recover if needed.
There is a slung tree at the top of the climb with a quick link however I would either back this up or bring extra tat just in case it is no longer good when you arrive there and start setting up to rappel.
Location
(46.5375278, -84.5922220)
Follow the cliff line north along the ice shelf for about .6km from the parking lot and the main ice wall attraction with 3 major flows will be obvious on the right. If the ice shelf isn’t isn’t follow the trail to the top of the cliff and you will have to possibly bushwhack to find where the over place is to lower/rap in from.
