Description Suggest change

Tricky layback climbing on the comfy rounded arete provides a nice technical challenge. Sit start the left side of the arete with a scrunched up foot and figure out how to bump your hands up the arete. Work up the layback with ergonomic pinches and tough footwork. When you reach the great jug don’t relax too soon - the topout is less straightforward than it looks.

This one looks like it was cleaned fairly recently, please update if you have a name.

Location Suggest change

This boulder is in the Echo area. Walk on the Kettle Pond Loop Trail for about 800ft. Just when you reach the edge of the pond you will see a lean-to shelter on the right marked #7. Cut into the woods behind the shelter and the Echo area is about 400ft straight up the hill, passing an outhouse on the left. Look for a sunny cluster of smaller boulders surrounding the large Echo Boulder in the middle. Once at the Echo Boulder this arete will be visible just across the hillside to the left.

Protection Suggest change
