Description
Blessed are the ones who achieve their inner Nngh. For only they are the chosen few who know the joy of send.
Nngh is Greek for "Where the hell is Pat Sajak?" You won't find any vowels here, but you WILL find one of the best lines at Rocspot. (Not as consistent nor as technically rewarding as Polar Circle, perhaps--more of a fat whomp juice romp type of deal. Whatever THAT means.)
Up a couple of easy ledges until you get yourself situated at a stance under an overhanging wall of rippling tufa goodness. There's not too much here--I mean, don't go looking for giant, Kalymnian hangers. But what little there is rates full value Snickers, equal parts chunky and delicious. Dance up these good hands until they run out. Transition to the technical portion of today's episode and unlock the blankety blank shield that protects the top. Small, fingery pockets and pulls will win the day if you can unlock the sequence. Better holds and a kinder angle for the finish await if you do.
Location
At the time of this writing, Nngh is the 9th line (from the left) on the always excellent Rocspot. (It's actually listed as #10 in the 2025 Pánjika guide, but El Grecko--the furthest left climb, has two variations from the same start.) Identify the thin clearing against the wall that opens up in front of an almost concave section of fierce brown rock. This is the extreme left side of Rocspot, is packed with spicy goodness, and is usually crowded.
Now step right several goat lengths to where the concave wall begins to flatten back out. Nngh is actually the very last climb on the right before you have to walk back out and around some trees to get over to the excellent Polar Circle. The name is painted at the base but starting to fade.
