Description Suggest change

Fun 3D alternative to top out the Flatiron boulder. Standing start from the trail up the left arrete of Flatiron, move up & left around the corner. Crux is getting a hand where the angular blocky rock on the left meets the slopey Flatiron block. Easy top out left over the angular blocky rock. A finish straight up the slopey Flatiron arrete seems doable for someone else, but harder/scarier.

Down climb: scramble over the top of Flatiron, grab the big crack on the left, & swing your legs down to the Flatiron Right-Side down-climb.

Similar grade as Flatiron Right-Side, so I gave it V1 (but it'd be V3 or V4 at Boulders gym in Madison).

Left side of The Flatiron boulder

Protection Suggest change

1-2 pads. Protecting a fall above the 2nd level on the left side could be tricky, but I didn't bother with a pad there.
