Description
This is the definition of small box climbing.
Sit start at the arête with your left hand on the slopey sidepull low and your right hand on the high crimp. Establish and bump until you can’t. Dig deep for the ledge up right. If you’re still riding the bull, your 8 seconds are up. Throttle down to an easy mantel. Shorter climbers may need a second pad to reach the RH start hold.
Location
Upon approaching the boulder, you’ll be drawn to the gorgeous crack (Apt Pupil). This problem is 15 feet left of the crack and ascends the arête just left of the steep, blank face.
