Description Suggest change

Named after the owner of a purse that was found and returned on the way to Old Rag, on the day of the first ascent. Climb the bouldery start to the distinct overhanging flake. Continue up and right placing gear behind the flake as you go. Eventually you’ll reach the only bolt on the route, clip the bolt and continue following the crack up and right. The crack will eventually end and leave you with a stout series of moves through a blank section of rock to reach a right-leaning finger crack and some solid jams. Gets some gear here and continue up the slab to the bolt anchor.

5.11d/5.12a variation: From the bolt head up and left to the hand and fist crack, that Wise Crack ends on. Follow this crack to a short section of slab and the bolt anchor.

Note: There is a large leaning boulder/ledge beneath the right side of the route that gets closer the higher you go. You can place plenty of gear on route to keep it safe, but be careful how far out you get from it because a big fall could result in hitting the boulder. Getting gear in the flake can also be a little finicky and pump you out quickly.

Location Suggest change

This route shares a start with Wise Crack. Located on the other side of the boulder pile from Stretch Mark and Mediocracy, you can see the distinct flake while on both of these routes. It is also just uphill from the Sunset Pinnacle.
