Description Suggest change

Falcon Punch is a fun crack climb with nice moves and bomber pro after the initial moves. The crux comes right off the ground (5.8+) on big holds where a spot from your belayer comes in handy, as there is no pro immediately available. Stand on a small ledge, place great gear, and ascend the nice handcrack stemming on the pillar as you go. Bomber pro exists here until just below the very top near the chains. Atop the pillar, step climber’s left, and climb the perfect hand crack. Once the crack ends, make a small runout on secure face holds to the chain anchors.

Location Suggest change

Located on the north end of the Falcon Crag wall around the corner of the main face, this route stays in the shade longer than the rest of the wall.

Protection Suggest change

Pro from BD #0.4 to #2 with an optional #3. Large nuts can also be utilized. Doubles in BD #0.75 and #1 can be helpful. One can stitch up the hand-sized crack as much as one wants. Finish at a bolted anchor with chains.
