Description Suggest change

Sit start with hands matched low on the arete in a crack feature. Make a powerful move utilizing a right heelhook and intermediate edge to access a incut crimp around mid height, match, shuffle feet, then continue up though balancy moves using sidepulls and small crimps to topout.

One of the best boulders of its kind at Hartman's, real holds, bullet stone, perfect landing!

Location Suggest change

This route climbs the slightly overhanging arete located on the northern aspect of the Egg Boulder on its left side, just left of Eggcellent.

The Egg Boulder is separated from the main Bonsai Zone area by about 200m. The boulder is located about 100m north (on the right side as you drive up) of the road which accesses the campsites and parking for the Bonsai Zone. You can see it most easily from the last campsite at the end of the road. It is a very round boulder with flat ground at the base and looks like an egg on a countertop. You will have to do some light bushwhacking to access it, as there is no trail.
