Access Issue: RAPTOR NESTING SEASON
Details
Golden Eagle nesting season. Avoid climbing ¨Andromeda¨ and all the routes above it until July 31st. This measure is in accordance with the guidelines applied by the Cleveland National Forest, which goal is¨to protect nesting grounds and assist with the successful breeding abilities of Prairie Falcons, Peregrine Falcons, and Golden Eagles¨.
Description
WARNING: There is an active beehive, and the bees are very aggressive, proceed with caution. Route has no anchor, best place to build one is a big flake on the left hand side before getting to the edge of the cliff.
Thin crack for some small pieces, Easy climb. This might be the first line to ever existed her, props to the first ascensionist. The line is equipped with old pitons and metal wedges along the way. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THEM OR TRUST YOUR LIFE TO THEM.
No anchor has been installed yet, but there are there are some stacked rocks that provided good cracks to set up an anchor with gear. Set up the anchor to rappel down, set up a top rope, etc.
