Access Issue: RAPTOR NESTING SEASON
Details
Golden Eagle nesting season. Avoid climbing ¨Andromeda¨ and all the routes above it until July 31st. This measure is in accordance with the guidelines applied by the Cleveland National Forest, which goal is¨to protect nesting grounds and assist with the successful breeding abilities of Prairie Falcons, Peregrine Falcons, and Golden Eagles¨.
Description
Mixed route that follows a kinda diagonal crack below a roof. It's starts of a flake into some slab and very chossy climbing (a thorough clean will be done soon). Follow the 3 bolt line into the roof, then follow the roof as the rock features go upwards.
The line ends (by now, because according to the setter, he will finish the line by adding an anchor) at the anchor of the 1st pitch of Kraken.
WARNING: A 70m will not make it to the ground when lowering. Easy down climbing will have to be done from the 2st bolt of Kraken.
GEAR USED: #1,2&3 BD cams. #4,5,6,7&8 Metolius cams. 3 alpine draws, 2 30cm runners and 4 quickdraws.
