Description Suggest change

Kryptonite is one of the best of the grade in the country! A lot can be said about the history and background to this ascent, but I will keep this entry as only informative. Feel free to add to the page in the comments.

The route starts with a blue/grey rock entrance about a 12a to a big, juggy ledge/kneebar. After resting here, it's on all the way to the anchors through an orange headwall and majestic, tufa drip features. Bring your kneepads.

Be aware, a newer route of about 13c, "The Lightness", splits off to the right after a few bolts.

Location Suggest change

Scramble up to a ledge via fix line near the center of the crag. Take note of the large cave/crack system in the middle of the wall. Kryptonite starts just left of it.

Protection Suggest change

Bolts.
