Description Suggest change

Need a break from kneebar walking?

Eisvoleas is a stellar steep route that sports almost exclusively positive holds, should you find all of them.  That being said, you may feel the steep angle compared to the nearby classics.

Start on typical Elona tufas for three clips before beginning a leftward traverse to a rest and permadraw.  Launch into the crux where the angle steepens taking either a “left” and “direct” option.  Either way is fun climbing.  Make another clip and hang on for more powerful but not as cruxy moves.  Pull over the roof, sink a kneebar, and remember you’re still at Elona.  Walk your way to the chains.  You’ll be pleased to know, clipping them isn’t a heinous.

Location Suggest change

Under the steep overhang. Look for the name at the base. Begin off an obvious pedestal-like block.

Protection Suggest change

8 bolts (9 if the perma is gone) and two rings at the top.
