Description Suggest change

A long standing project by locals finally went down on July 10th, 2022. It essentially adds a 3 move V12 sequence into the stand which is already V10-11.

Start sitting directly under the stand start holds with your left hand on a sharp 3 finger sidepull and your right hand spread wide on a more comfortable sidepull. Shorter climbers may not be able to reach but this is also a huge part of the difficulty. The first move is one the hardest and most frustrating moves. A desperate slap to a terrible schist sloper. Sticking this move perfect enough to be able to move your feet and set up for the next move is extremely hard and low percentage. From here a left toe hook helps setup for the next equally hard and low percentage move to the left start hold of the stand. The 3rd move is the easiest of the intro moves but still not a gimme and good footwork is needed on the slippery schist. Obviously from here its still hard to the top and those intro moves add a lot.

I will say this start doesn't add quality into the stand but needed to get done and is certainly a contender for the hardest boulder in Vermont. If the start holds were a little higher off the ground and not so spanned out this would be a much better climb. That being said the rock quality is awesome and it will be here for a long time for others to try.

I got super close to sending in November of 2019 but never finished it. Glad to see GP was able to get it done in the middle of summer a few years later.
