DNR wants to pass on a friendly reminder to display your Discover Pass, not block any gates, and park well off the road to prevent getting ticketed or towed. Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition continue to partner with DNR on stewardship and management of the Gold Bar Boulders and their access sites. Description
Fairly similar to its neighbor Slabriosity, Slab Bongo requires a delicate mantle just after the start to better holds up high. Fortunately, you can avoid the mono on this one.
Start on the sloping rail at about chest height, left start hold has a decent thumb catch. Slap up to some small crimps in the horizontal crack then mantle up to the better juggy horizontal crack above. Follow the crack left and topout at the triangle block.
