DNR wants to pass on a friendly reminder to display your Discover Pass, not block any gates, and park well off the road to prevent getting ticketed or towed. Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition continue to partner with DNR on stewardship and management of the Gold Bar Boulders and their access sites. Description
Greenhorn Slab is a pretty simple romp to the top of the warmup boulder. The route can be used as a way to descend/downclimb the boulder too.
It is also likely my first FA in WA! Hope you enjoy or utilize as a downclimb.
Start matched on the lowest chunk of the blocky shield. Move up to a jug behind the horn on the shield. Now take the easy ramp to the top.
