Description Suggest change

Ledgy, steppy broken rock zigs and zags up the west/northwest face of Middle Challenger. Steps of 3rd class are climbed to reach the summit at 7,920 feet elevation. Start from the Challenger glacier near the col between Middle and West peaks.

Middle Challenger is the 3rd of 5 primary summits of the Challenger massif. It is approximately a 1/4 mile due west from the highest Challenger main summit.

Helmet for loose rock, no fixed anchors or rappel stations on route.
