Description Suggest change

"The farthest right of the 3 multipitch sport routes. Rap with a 60m rope or walk off."

-This is from the most recent David Thompson guidebook. Oddly, while climbing, you can see a 4-pitch route climber's right which is not listed in the book. It looks like quite new hardware so it may be more recent than the book.

"P1: 5.7, 29m, 8 bolts. Rap rings on top of this pitch."

-Most moves are friction climbing on small holds. Overall slabbiest pitch. Well-protected. Double rap ring anchor, with the least comfortable belay stance of all the pitches (small ledge, cannot go no-hands unless hanging on anchor). Consider clipping anchor and linking to P2 for a more comfortable belay.

"P2: 5.8, 26m, 6 bolts."

-Many good holds, broken up by thin slabby faces, with a bit of a runout from second-last bolt to anchor. Some loose rock which look like good holds so beware. Double rap rings at a comfortable belay stance.

"P3: 5.7, 19m, 5 bolts."

-Mostly good holds, less slabby than first two pitches. Double rap ring anchor, comfortable belay ledge.

P4: 5.7+, 22m, 6 bolts."

-Good holds except for one slabby thin technical face with some committing moves 15m up. After this, the rest of the moves are likely 5.5. As of 2021 the anchor has 3 bolt hangers: 1 empty, 1 with new quicklink, and one with a rusty quicklink. There are at least two bolts visible above, on some scrambly terrain with big ledges.

-Overall, the bolt lines are very straight, no runners needed. Rapping with 60 m rope is simple. Pulling the rope always brings a few small pieces off the wall so keep your helmeted head down when pulling.

Location Suggest change

Walk up the approach trail for Abraham Slabs, pass beyond the B2 spraypainted in white on the wall. There is eventually a raised flat ledge with several climbs. This one starts 3 bolt lines left of a tall right-facing corner.

Protection Suggest change

Bolts up to 8 per pitch, max. 15 if linking pitches. Anchors: rap rings or quicklink hangers.
