Access Issue: Eco Camp Private Property
Details
Once you arrive at the sand, walk 200 meters down the beach, turn left and walk 200 meters up the river bed, turn left and follow a trail directly to the main cliff face. This roundabout approach will hopefully help climbers avoid conflicts with the the Eco Camp dogs (one bit a climber during our stay), along with the Eco Camp employees who threatened to remove the bolts if non-camping climbers walk through the private property.
Description
Occhio di falco is a long and glorious route that starts with a moderate scramble to a high first bolt with an optional lower bolt on the route to the left if one feels It necessary to keep it on the safe side. As the wall gets steeper the holds get more interesting until you find yourself in an amazing set of tufas on slightly overhanging terrain. The upper half of the route is made of vertical and technical face climbing with enjoyable movement all the way to the top of the cliff.
