Access Issue: Access via Garland Prairie Closed- Use Woody Mountain Road Details

9/24/2025 There is a road dispute happening on the standard Garland Prairie route to the canyon. NAZCC is working with the Forest Service to resolve it. Description

When you want to live in the past and you pine for different time you're in the throes of Romantic Notions. This cutie delivers. Lower to a comfortable table sized ledge about midway down. Small gear for anchor. Right off the deck you'll be in it to win it. Stays consistent and keeps you engaged till the crux 20' up. Sustained for another 10' then casual but rewarding climbing to the top. Give it a go and spray about it. Everyone loves Romantic Notions.

Furthest Left route on the Can Laude Wall. Modern, secure, non-erosion causing, progressive anchor can be found under some stones near the twin agave.
