Access Issue: Gate Buttress Area Recreational Lease: Climbs on Church Buttress above vault remain closed Details

Description

Start standing on the good horizontal seam on the left side of Mike's Face.  Climb straight up to the same stance as Unknown V3, but instead of cutting left, head straight up (and very slightly right) on thin but positive grips to the apex of the boulder.  May be harder if you are shorter and unable to reach a key crimp off the low feet.

Location

East-most side of the north face of Mike's Face.

Protection

Two pads work, and you can step off before the point of commitment--but missing the pads and landing in the talus would be bad!
