Access Issue: Texas Climbers Coalition Property - Now Open
Details
TCC Notes - San Antonio we have good news! Medicine Wall is open for climbing. We’ve been wanting this just as bad as you and we are excited to bring outdoor climbing to the San Antonio climbers. Thanks to the Access Fund for all their hard work on this project. A couple of quick house keeping things:
✔️It is open for all to enjoy. No commercial use of the property yet.
✔️Please wear a mask if applicable and follow other CDC guidelines especially until all the routes are able to spread folks out.
✔️Trail access is at the 1604 and Shavano Creek parking lot. Eisenhower parking will be also used when it is open.
✔️Use common sense and care for the property.
✔️We will have volunteer opportunities. Keep an eye out for cleaning and trail projects in 2021!

Description
Start below two bolts leading towards a rock perched on the ledge above. Make easy moves in a right facing corner to step up and left and clip the first bolt. Move up to the 2nd before moving onto the ledge (either over the block or around it to the left on the dirt ramp). Easy climbing up the ramp leads to a 3rd bolt. Head up to the base of the corner RIGHT of the steeper Judgement. Climb the fun corner/layback on large holds clipping bolts on the face out right until you reach the anchor.
