Description
Alpha is the climber's right side of two flows that form in front of an alcove, and it usually forms every year. Its condition is known to vary over the season.
Descent: rappel from trees.
Location
WGS84 12T 0505093E 5035649N --also known as 45.4744, -110.9348. From the Palisade Falls trailhead parking lot head NW on FS road 3165 for about 1/4 mile. Stay right on FS 3165 (overgrown) for another 1/2 mile. Then head uphill (east) up an open slope to the route. Note: routes Alpha and Omega can be seen from Hyalite Reservoir dam.
