After climbing this, I cleaned off several fatal-to-a-belayer sized blocks by hand, and a few more look like they'll go with a crowbar.

Bob, if you're not willing or no longer able to properly clean up a route, perhaps it's time to hang up the drill before someone gets badly injured or worse climbing one of your newer routes. Feb 5, 2018

These bolts should be removed to discourage anybody from getting on this climb. The only reason I went to the anchors was because the idea of bailing off of a bolt sketched me out - not because the bolts are bad (they're not), but because these beautiful bolts are placed in horrific, nightmarish, rotten rock. I gave up tapping on holds after about 20 feet because nearly everything felt loose. I knocked a few brick-sized rocks down on my belayer while lowering. The two bolts that comprise the anchor are placed strangely far apart (3ish feet). Wonder why? Presumably because the rock up there is so awful that putting two bolts closer to each other was impossible. There's a hole drilled in between them, so someone tried, I guess.

Lastly, if anyone still wants to climb this piece of shit: one of the hangers on the top anchor was spinning, and the nut on the bolt was loose. It probably just needs tightening, but if you decide to get on this, this is the least of your problems.... Nov 25, 2018
