It's questionable whether I went up this route as intended; however, I'm sure others will eventually come across the loose and uncomfortably large rocks at the right crack around (I think) c6 as well. I should have made a chalk X but was more concerned with self preservation and getting back over to the left. Anyhow, there's one on top of the other, and they're loose enough to easily dislodge. Help from professionals (which I absolutely am not) is greatly encouraged. I also came across loose stuff in the left chimney area (again I may have been off route here) that felt scary and unreliable. Other than that, it was fun!

I assume these newer routes take time to get cleaned up and made safer. Sep 27, 2017

I butt scooted up the chimney slot on the left side between the last two bolts, then when necessary I popped out and stemmed. No way did the face moves in same area feel less than 5.10 something. Nov 15, 2017
