Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
Easily the best boulder problem in Wawona, Don Quixote sports a very unique blocky start feature, and slabby, balancy, wide movement. Start matched on the low extruded block and mantel over it, using the slopers left, right, and above to slide your way straight up onto the slopey ledge.
Probably feels like a hard V5 for taller climbers and and easy V7 for short climbers.
Named by a boulderer met climbing at Old Squaw
