Description
Home to probably the best boulder problem in Wawona, this boulder sports a quality face climb and unique features, with a fairly flat and soft landing, and an easy down climb.
Getting There
Just a few feet behind Old Squaw Boulder (Mosquito Rock) on the Swinging Bridge trail. From the Chinualna Falls parking lot, drive past the Chinualna Falls trailhead and down the dirt road, across the bridge and keep left for the Swinging Bridge trailhead. Hike in about a quarter mile until you see Old Squaw Boulder in the meadow below the Icehouse cliffs. The hillside behind this boulder (up the hill to the east) is littered with tall boulders, begging for first ascents.
