Description Suggest change

This route is remarkably good, but looks uninspiring from the ground. Nearly all of the route is hidden from view and remains shaded and climbable when everything else is baked.

Go up the ice smear and squeeze into the corner. Up the corner to where the ice runs out, then dry-tool up into a hidden corner. Go up this (mixed rock and ice) to the top.

From here, walk left a few feet to a large tree at the edge of the overhanging wall. A 100' free-hanging rappel leads back to the base.

Location Suggest change

Another route on the Outback Wall, this one is in a giant right-facing corner 200' left and uphill from Poco Loco. The left wall of the corner is steeply overhanging. Near the bottom of the corner, ice spills out onto the right wall.

Protection Suggest change

Rock rack plus some ice gear.
