Description

A stout beginning leads to a shake about 20 feet up. Where Crystal (10b) heads right, head left and continue up steeper rock on great holds to a final overhanging section of rock with an epic clip at the anchor.

Currently missing chains although there are two bolts at the end.

Location

The 4th route from the left.

Protection

Bolts.

The 4th draw is intentionally fixed so you can clip in while lowering to clean it without taking a big pendulum.

Anchor replaced with mussy hooks

Worth mentioning that due to the combo of traverse and overhang, you should REALLY have someone follow this route instead of trying to clean from the anchor. My partner couldn't get to the anchor on follow, resulting in a lot of challenging tramming. Most importantly, when I unclipped the last draw I swung into some rocks at a decent speed. Just got a little bruised but it easily could have been worse. Still a great climb! Aug 2, 2018
