Description

P1: Climb the low angle crack into the left facing dihedral. Some easier terrain brings you to the large belay ledge with chains. (5.7)

P2: Move left and up into the harder to protect upper crack system with some slopey face holds. Follow this to chains. (5.8)

Can be done as 1 long pitch.

Location

First route on the right side of the huge gaping chimney.

Protection

Single set of cams to BD#2. Chain anchors.

2nd pitch is definitely not garbage. We enjoyed it. Thoughtful crack and slopey face climbing. Rock quality is good. May 15, 2017
