Description [Suggest Change]

Classic and easiest climb in settore B. Just pure fun crack climbing! Fairly wide, so bring some bigger cams and your tape gloves. Low-angle and pretty chill.

Location [Suggest Change]

Left hand side of settore B

Skip the bolts, plug the gear!

It seems to me the more natural line is actually to go straight up and use a pair of wide cracks directly above the roof where you start. That's what I did and it was probably 5.9+. Technically the route goes right and stays to the right in the dihedral to the top. Many options as the routes are all tightly spaced and there is a ton of perfect splitters all next to each other!

In fact, we also did the start of the bolted route to the right of Classica, Edera, which is a 7a but bailed above the big flake (just before where it gets hard!), moving left and doing the dihedral finish of Classica instead. Mind the rope drag, but that was actually really fun! 5.10ish Also fully bolted but could do it as a mixed route too. Oct 30, 2017
