Warning Access Issue: Warning! Stainless steel bolts are suspect near the coast! DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Some fun moves at the start and some tufu stemming at the top make it a decent route. I recall the first bolt being a rusted, half exposed, steel expansion bolt (Feb 2016)...so if you hang or fall on 5.10, probably pass on this one.

Location Suggest change

Right of Ling Noi. Look for the expansion bolt hangers (easily identifiable as most everything in Railay is glue-in). Route #26 in the King Climbers guidebook, 8th Edition.

Protection Suggest change

Threads and bolts. I wouldn't consider this route safe as it hasn't yet been equipped with SS or Ti glue-ins (as of Feb 2016).
