Description Suggest change

Minion Mtn was named because it's yellow and small like minions.
3 routes All top roped by the same anchor.
Easy approach, and fun for the family.
Area is good for experienced climbers to take beginning climbers and for rappelling activities for youth groups as well.
There is a bolt in the alcove on the hike to top to create a safety tether to the anchors.
This area is a new area and due to the nature of the rock (choss) you will encounter loose and hollow sounding rock. It is recommended to wear a helmet and use good judgement.

Location Suggest change

Striking yellow rock formation on right/ south of the needle
Follow trail an stay to the right after rock carins to GN.

Once at the slab base. Hike up right to palo verde tree in alcove then left to the top to the anchors.

Protection Suggest change

3 bolt anchor (parties have added a sling to the boulders by the anchors for added redundancy and saftey).
There is a bolt in the alcove on the hike to top to create a safety tether to the anchors.
