Access Issue: Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

Some really good rock, fun overlaps to climb through. Lower slab crux is hard and has scary run-out. There is some trad gear options along the way. The upper portion is better protected with bolts, but also has more and better gear options.

This is a 2nd pitch accessed up and left of Heavens/ Loaves anchor. Or more directly above Albatross. 2 raps back to base, some down climbing to reach mid anchor, and the ground if using a 60m rope. One could use the Loaves of Fun anchor to reach the ground.

8 lead bolts. Bolted rap stations at start and top. Light gear rack.

Not scary runout, but it is runout. Single move crux with balancing on your toes being key. Some gear <2" would protect the runouts (which you probably already had on your rack from the approach pitch). Sep 15, 2014
