Access Issue: Working Timberland Details
April 19, 2017: Weekday access to the Gold Bar boulders has now reopened following a temporary closure to ensure public safety during harvest activities associated with the Dyno timber sale. In partnership with Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition, DNR preserved access to much of the road network hikers and climbers use to access the Gold Bar boulders. Climb up the middle of the the slab face of the boulder following the path of the crack offering some side pulls. Smears and tiny ledges for the feet. Definitely a fun problem. Trust your feet!
