Somewhat reminiscent of Wheat Thin in Yosemite, this route liebacks and jams a thin flake that appears to be merely resting on a ledge due to gravity only. The OW crack formed by the flake was deemed too precarious for cams and has five bolts drilled into the main wall in addition to the chain anchors. Don't pull too hard while liebacking the flake!

Look on the left wall upon entering the first narrows.

A medium nut at the start (optional) and quickdraws

A beautiful climb, helpful to have a shoe that covers the ankles, I used some la sportiva Kalkulators - high tops, not mandatory, but helpful. Five star route. Jan 4, 2016

I've walked past this route a dozen or so times hiking and always thought that it looks awesome... If a fatty like me can trust the flake to not kill my belayer. Anyone who's climbed it have beta on how solid that thing is? Sep 25, 2016
just did it today. some of the rock to the lowest bolt was a little loose. the flake is good. the edge breaks a little hear and there. super pumpy and is a destroyer of ankles. over all very fun. seems a little higher than 60 feet, but the exposure isn't too bad at all.
climbed it using some lay-back techniques but mostly hand, arm, leg, body jams. Nov 27, 2018
