Falcon Closures Details

Description

This is the left bolted line on the west face of the Whistle Pig. It is short and sweet; good for a beginner leader.

A TR can be setup by climbing the northeast face.

Protection

4 bolts lead to a 2 bolt anchor.

Agree that this is great beginner lead - short, good stances for bolts, and great rock to the touch - almost anywhere you place your foot, it will stick! Apr 23, 2017

Definitely easier than Phil, but I thought Phil was more fun.

I agree, a good beginner lead. Sep 14, 2015

That fist-sized rock is now gone, along with some other junk. There is more that needs removed. Watch what your use around the second bolt, there is still some choss.... Jun 1, 2014

Agree with John - a tad easier because of Phil's start. There's a nasty, hand-sized rock right under the roof that's really loose, but we couldn't quite pull.... Aug 26, 2013
A tad easier than Phil. Aug 14, 2013
