Description

This forced line climbs the crack system to the left of the line of bolts. Enjoyable face moves are found a the last 2 bolts as you leave the crack system. It is worth doing once to figure out that you don't need to climb it again.

Location

This is located on a small pillar to the left of the Red Wall.

Protection

4 bolts.

You can also climb the crack to the right of the bolts (~5.10a), which offers some nice jamming opportunities but is a little dirty. I top roped it, but it'd probably go on gear, or you might be able to reach the bolts to the left without too much difficulty. Sep 25, 2016
Try climbing the face the whole way not using the crack. It climbs a lot better. It's not the greatest route and it is contrived, but it's The Palace. May 9, 2011
