Description

This is the second shorter pitch to Uneedalubben, it has better rock quality, too. The crux comes a few moves after you pull onto the face. Interesting side pulls and footwork make the pitch. It feels hard for the grade.

I was able to do it in one pitch with a 70m rope with some to spare (you might be able to do it with a 60m).

Protection

5 bolts to 2 anchors.

I raised the grade to .11c for the new book but the grade stayed the same. Feel free to give it what ever grade you think it is. Also upped Moon Boots to .11d. Feb 19, 2010

I'm not one for disagreeing with grades. My partner and I got on this again last week, and it still felt hard. Maybe it's different because we were doing it as one pitch or maybe because it's beta intensive, but seems really hard for 11b. Super fun though. Watch out of a large perched rock in the middle of the route, after the crux. Feb 19, 2010

After climbing this again last season, I would agree it's tough for the grade, or maybe I'm just getting weaker:) Feb 19, 2010
