Sit start on the ground with a decent left hand on the arete and your right hand on a big, flat hold. Make some great arete slaps and cool moves as you use both aretes to reach the top.

This is on the 14th Hole Boulder. This is a dead obvious, bearhug type arete.

Was out there today. There's an awkward, microwave-size block right where you start/in the drop zone that is loose and rocking around. Nearly sprained my ankle on it a few times. Before moving/adjusting it, though, I thought I'd check here. Would the the golf course folks know if I stabilized or moved that block? Is the local ethic to just deal with it? Don't want anyone to sprain an ankle, but don't want to piss anyone off. Jan 10, 2012

Stiff V3! Super nice movement on this. Style goes a long way on this!
Coz, that loose base rock didn’t bother us. I don’t see why you couldn’t cram another rock under it to stabilize? Dec 17, 2017
