Description
This is a nice change to the usual X Rock affair, a long face climb that makes you think on solid rock. The crux [was] at the ancient bolt. Per David Kozak: the first crux is at the fifth bolt (and near to the ancient bolt) with the second crux passing the bulge at the 7th bolt.
Location
This is the face between thin crack and wide crack. There is an ancient bolt about halfway up the climb.
Protection
Although potentially leadable, this was probably better done as just a toprope off of the two bolt anchor and chains at the top.
Now, per David Kozak: this route now sports nine 4 1/2" stainless bolts. Currently the anchor needs long draws to be able to TR or do laps on the route. A sport anchor will be established in the near future.
