Description

I would not consider this an OW climb. Less than stellar pro up easier climbing over some vegetation into a hand crack that goes to fist through the crux bulge. This is much more fun than Thin Crack. This one can be set up as a TR.

Location

This is the wider of the two cracks on the right side of the wall.

Protection

Bring runners, some TCU-sized cams, Camalots sizes: 1 #4, 2 #2s, and 2 #3s.

Photos

The top anchors are in a cracked/cracking block. Bring a 30'+ sling to backup the top anchor to a tree. If you want to lead this bad boy, do yourself a favor and rap/clean sand/leaves out of the crack prior to lead. Fun route. Dec 1, 2017
