Matt Giossi Has done the sit as well (first a few years ago and repeated last week). Consensus seems to be V9 on the sit start. Apr 24, 2016

sometimes southern ri climber ben gerhardstein got the first ascent, called it fall out v9ish. i think zeb may have done it, and ty land man flashed it which was impressive. im not sure about others. really hard first move. Apr 24, 2016

Thanks Mark. It will feel easier when it gets cooler. Mantle beta - got it. I was trying to straight on dyno it. May 21, 2015

It must have felt hard in the heat Sunday. Key for me was the correct smear spot for my left toe, not going too high on the arete with my left hand and manteling high off the starting sloper to get up high before popping for the top May 18, 2015

Does anyone have good beta for this problem? I seem to be locked into trying a hard dyno with a left hand crimp/sloper on the arĂȘte and a right on the starting sloper, but might be making this harder than necessary. Thanks! May 18, 2015

Not actually sure. Giossi did the bottom and finished out Summit, but not sure if he added this top Jun 15, 2012
