Description
This cool climb is a novel experience. The route starts by climbing a large pine tree, actually quite aways up the branches, until one can hop on the face of this very large boulder at a lump/knob. Face climb up the face past to few bolts to the summit and a set of anchors.
Location
This climb is located not on Thrutcher Dome , but in the secluded , and difficult to reach Valley behind the N. Face of Thrutcher Dome. It is best approached to hike way N. up the main wonderland wash, then then hike in past Wheel of Fortune (N. Face of Disneyland), past Monument Manor Crag, then scramble up boulders and into the Valley behind Thrutcher Dome. Maybe see what Vogel has to say in his guide and directions to the 2 established climbs already there and in his book (Ground Ron and Feeding Frenzy).
