Access Issue: RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

Description

Ascend some blocky holds to the first bolt under a right-trending crack in the rock. Traverse the crack/sloping flake right past two more bolts. Ascend the slabby face for two more bolts to the chains. Dirty at the begining, but will clean up nicely.

Location

First route on the left.

Protection

5 bolts and chain anchors.

It was a little dirty the first run, after a few runs it cleaned up and was really awesome! stay with the bolts, don't be tempted to climb above them and use the crack for feet, you'll miss cool moves. Jan 13, 2010
