This is one of the nicer climbs in the area. I'd recommend stick clipping the first bolt. Climb straight up the arete to gain the first bolt. Continue past 3 more bolts using the arete and face holds on the right of the arete to reach the shuts.

This is the left most route on the Right Main Wall.

First of all: Covalent Bonding is 5.10- and Coordinate Covalent Bonding is 5.11-. 5.9 is a little sandbagged for my taste.

Second of all: It has to be more than 30 feet tall.

Third of all: I have never seen anyone even talk about trad leading this route. It would be either extremely difficult or super runout. This is a sport route.

This is a superfun route. I am sure some people can do the first move static, but I have to throw myself at that first ledge. And no matter how many times I have lead this, it always feels a little sketchy clipping that first bolt.

I appreciate that these Logtown routes are getting put on this site, and I am really not trying to be a jerk. I am just adding what I believe are accurate comments. Sean has certainly been on the scene much longer than I have so I am making these comments with the utmost respect. Nov 14, 2007
