Description Suggest change

Gray Expectations is another great East Canyon climb on excellent rock. The rock on this pitch is particularly featured with little bubbles of lime, providing for interesting texture on many of the holds.

The climb starts with a steep, but short overhanging section with some long moves and interesting sequences through the first few bolts before the grade eases. A gentle section of climbing leads to fun climbing on wildly textured and beautifully incut holds to thin climbing up the obvious gray streak at the top.

Location Suggest change

Climbs the obvious gray streak at the top of the wall on the left side of the Hole Wall. Starts 10-15 feet to the right of Black Beauty.

Protection Suggest change

8 bolts.
