Steep and pumpy roof leads to a tricky slab at the top.

Is Rawhide the same line that according to local guidebooks requires a single piece of gear placement? And also the same line that comes over a hump, and then is run out like crazy for the final two bolts? If so, be very careful with that run-out, as it has groundfall potential, even though those final two bolts are around 15/16 climbing. It needs some extra bolts, which Troy at Hangdog *may* have gotten to in fall 2017.

(I may be thinking of the route just to the left of it?) Jun 14, 2017
